1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Bio-Op (the "Game", "Website", or "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our Services. These terms apply to all visitors, players, and users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bio-Op. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized third-party software.
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other players.
• Distribute malware, spam, or harmful content.
• Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access.
• Impersonate Bio-Op staff or other players.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in Bio-Op, including artwork, code, music, text, and game mechanics, is owned by Bio-Op Studios or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the game for personal entertainment. You may not reverse-engineer, copy, or distribute game assets without permission.

6. User-Generated Content

If you submit content (e.g., feature requests, feedback, forum posts), you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display that content. You warrant that you have the right to share this content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

7. Beta Disclaimer

Bio-Op is currently in beta. Features, balance, and availability may change without notice. Beta progress may be reset. We make no guarantees about uptime, data persistence, or final game design.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bio-Op Studios is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100 if you paid nothing).

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New York County.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
